The Timberlea Titans Atom and Bantam squads advanced to the Nova Scotia Minor Football Tier 1 Championships after winning their semi-final games this past weekend.  On Sunday morning, at the CPA all-weather turf, the Atoms started the day with a 16-8 victory over the visitng Valley Bulldogs ending the game with an exciting last second goal-line stand.  The top ranked Bantam Titans followed up with a physical 18-6 win over the Bantam Bulldogs.  On Saturday in Canning, the Peewee Titans put forth a great effort however they came up short in their Tier 1 semi-final against a strong Valley club.

The Bantams and Atoms will prepare for a return to the gridiron this coming weekend. The Bantam Titans will host the Bedford Saints while the Atom Titans will visit the Dartmouth Destroyers in the NSMFL Tier 1 Championships.
