Stefano Momesso scored the clinching goal in a shootout, and Hafro SG Cortina picked up the extra point in a 4-3 (3-0 SO) win over Rittner Buam.

The shootout lasted for seven attempts between the teams. In addition to the clincher, Hafro SG Cortina got shootout goals from Momesso and Riccardo Lacedelli.

Lacedelli had one goal and two assists to lead Hafro SG Cortina. Lacedelli scored 14:11 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Angelo Esposito provided the assist.

In the losing effort, Rittner Buam was paced by Markus Spinell, who tallied two goals and one assist. Spinell scored the first of his two goals at 10:25 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Fabian Ebner picked up the assist. Spinell's next tally made the score 2-1 Rittner Buam with 8:04 left in the first period. Brendan Cook provided the assist.

Hafro SG Cortina also had goals scored by Alexander Gellert and Brett Sonne, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Hafro SG Cortina were Richard Crowley, who had one.

Rittner Buam's defense was uncharacteristically lax during the game. Rittner Buam is averaging 1.5 goal against for the season.

Rittner Buam also got points from Cook, who also racked up one goal and one assist. More assists for Rittner Buam came via Andreas Alber, Julian Kostner, and Brad Cole, who contributed one each.
