Hazen's big game bests SHC Fassa in 5-2 HC Appiano win

Behind a great game by Jonathan Hazen, who had one goal and two assists, HC Appiano defeated SHC Fassa, 5-2.

Hazen scored 14:26 into the first period to make the score 1-0 HC Appiano. David Ceresa assisted on the tally. Hazen dished an assist on Peter Stimpfl's goal that made the score 2-0 HC Appiano at 2:47 into the second period. He added another helper on Jan Waldner's goal that made the score 4-0 HC Appiano at 12:54 into the second period.

HC Appiano stifled SHC Fassa's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.
