The Bolzano Foxes won 2-0 over Fassa.

Bolzano stifled Fassa's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

The Foxes were helped by MacGregor Sharp, who finished with one goal. Sharp scored 11:19 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Bolzano. Jordan Knackstedt picked up the assist. Tuomo Harjula also scored for Bolzano. In addition, Bolzano received assists from Christian Walcher, Alexander Egger, and Christian Borgatello, who each chipped in one.

Fassa's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Bolzano power plays. Fassa could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

Matthew Zaba rejected 21 shots on goal for Bolzano. The Foxes incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Francis Doyle recorded 25 saves for Fassa. Fassa registered zero goals on three power play opportunities.
