Val Pusteria rolls over Asiago, 4-1Odegar Tue, Mar 06, 2012 The Val Pusteria Lupi were firing on all cylinders against Asiago, and when the final buzzer sounded Lupi emerged with a 4-1 win. David Ling had one goal and two assists to lead Val Pusteria. Ling scored 5:58 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Val Pusteria. Armin Helfer provided the assist. Asiago was stymied by the Lupi netminder Mikko Stromberg, who stopped 29 shots during the victory. Val Pusteria also got a goal from Olivier Magnan as well. Other players who recorded assists for Val Pusteria were Joe Cullen, who had two and Ryan Watson and Nate DiCasmirro, who each chipped in one. Asiago was led by Sean Bentivoglio, who scored the team's only goal. Bentivoglio scored 17:27 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Val Pusteria. Layne Ulmer picked up the assist. Val Pusteria incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Asiago's Jeff Lerg stopped 22 shots out of the 26 that he faced. Asiago incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
