Fraser leads Cortina over Valpellice, 5-1

Curtis Fraser was all over the ice for Cortina, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Cortina's 5-1 win over the Valpellice Bulldogs.

Fraser's tallies came at 1:53 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Cortina and 7:17 into the second to make the score 3-0 Cortina.

Cortina could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game.

Cortina also got points from Rob Hennigar, who also finished with two goals and one assist. Luca Felicetti also scored for Cortina. Other players who recorded assists for Cortina were Ryan Menei, who had three and Jonas Johansson and Mark Isherwood, who contributed one a piece.

Valpellice could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 34 minutes in penalties during the game.

Jean Philippe Levasseur made 22 saves for Cortina on 23 shots. Cortina registered two goals on eight power play opportunities. Steve Valiquette rejected 35 shots on goal for the Bulldogs. Valpellice registered one goal on five power play opportunities.
