Bolzano rolls over Fassa, 5-2

The Bolzano Foxes were firing on all cylinders against Fassa, and when the final buzzer sounded Foxes emerged with a 5-2 win.

Bolzano pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes.

The Foxes were paced by Anton Bernard, who had one goal.

Bolzano also got points from Jordan Knackstedt, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Alexander Egger, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Mark McCutcheon, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Bolzano also got a goal from Tuomo Harjula as well. In addition, Bolzano received assists from Christian Borgatello, who had two and Stefan Zisser, Stefano Giliati, and MacGregor Sharp, who contributed one a piece.

Fassa struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 18 penalty minutes for seven opposing power plays.

Matthew Zaba rejected 16 shots on goal for Bolzano. Fassa's Francis Doyle stopped 26 shots out of the 31 that he faced. Fassa registered one goal on six power play opportunities.
