Rittner Buam's Cook deadly on offense in 3-1 win against HC Val Pusteria Lupi

Brendan Cook had two goals to lead Rittner Buam to a 3-1 victory over HC Val Pusteria Lupi.

Cook scored at 5:16 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Rittner Buam and again while 19:48 into the third to make the score 3-1 Rittner Buam.

The win by Rittner Buam clinched the best of seven series at 4-1.

Rittner Buam's Andrew Engelage was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 48 saves and let only one puck past him. Engelage managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.34 prior to the game.

Rittner Buam stifled HC Val Pusteria Lupi's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Rittner Buam also got a goal from Julian Kostner as well. Other players who recorded assists for Rittner Buam were Markus Spinell and Mark Van Guilder, who each chipped in one.
