Rittner Buam squeaks by SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan, 4-2

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Rittner Buam escaped with a 4-2 victory over SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Luca Ansoldi's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Dan Tudin had a great game for Rittner Buam, netting two goals. Tudin scored at 13:20 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 7:21 into the third to make the score 2-2.

SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan's power play was ineffective against Rittner Buam's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

Rittner Buam had trouble converting on the power play advantage, managing just two goals on nine chances. Rittner Buam found itself short handed often, totaling 18 penalty minutes and allowing six power plays.
