Bruins beat Leafs 1-0 in a game that featured tenacious defense, solid goalkeeping and a winning score from Dion Pfaneuf.

Bruins was led by Pfaneuf, who grabbed one goal. Pfaneuf scored on the power play 12:46 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Bruins. Lupel picked up the assist.

Leafs' defense shut down Bruins' forwards for much of the game, and Bruins got off only seven shots during the contest.

Bruins ended with no penalties and went 1-for-0 on the power play. Leafs avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of one power plays.
