Test and Bruins skate to 0-0 (OT) tieBreland Homes Ice Mon, Sep 09, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Defense was the word of the day when Test took on Bruins, as no goals were scored in the game en route to a 0-0 tie. Test managed to stay out of the box for the most part, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. However, the total the 1.0 minutes in penalty time per game Test had been averaging this year. Bruins' defense shut down Test's forwards for much of the game, and Test got off only one shot during the contest. Bruins' offense was handcuffed by Test's defensive play, and Bruins managed only one shot on goal during the game. Test registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities. Bruins' James Reimer stopped one shot out of the one that he faced. Bruins ended with no penalties and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
