The HC Gherdeina Furie used a sparkling performance by Florian Grossgasteiger to take down Hockey Milano Rossoblu, as the netminder did not allow a goal in HC Gherdeina's 4-0 shutout victory.

The Furie's penalty kill excelled, as HC Gherdeina gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.
