Eric Castonguay was all over the ice for the Missouri Mavericks, as he tallied one goal and two assists in Missouri's 4-1 win over the St. Charles Chill. Castonguay got on the board by slotting home a goal 8:39 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Missouri. Andrew Courtney picked up the assist. Castonguay dished an assist on Dave Pszenyczny's goal that made the score 1-0 Missouri at 5:27 into the first period. He added another helper on Courtney's goal that made the score 4-1 Missouri at 7:23 into the third period.St. Charles threw everything it had at the Mavericks' Erno Suomalainen, but he responded by making eight saves to secure the win. Missouri's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three St. Charles power plays. Missouri additionally got points from Courtney, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Missouri also got a goal from Evan Vossen as well. More assists for Missouri came via Sebastien Thinel, who had three and Dean Moore and Tyler Currier, who contributed one a piece. The Mavericks were unable to stop the Chill from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Charles eventually piled up 35 shots on goal. The Chill were led by Cameron Cooper, who scored the team's only goal. Cooper scored 5:19 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Missouri. Nick Schneider provided the assist.
