Another postponed; 'Jacks, Liners no go for tonight

Date:  Source: Will County Cracker Jacks

Tonight's game battle for first place in the Midwest Collegiate League between the Will County CrackerJacks and DeKalb County Liners has been postponed. Due to last Friday night's storms, Brennan Field is still unplayable.

Due to the conditions at Brennan Field, the CrackerJacks will have a "new" home for the next two days. They will be returning to Wayne King Jr. Field at Joliet Junior College to play three home games over the next couple of days. The Illinois Lincolns currently call JJC home, but the CrackerJacks played their home games there last season and will be the home team in tomorrow's match-up against the Lincolns, with first pitch scheduled at 4 pm.

On Thursday, July 5, there will be a double header at JJC. The CrackerJacks will make-up Monday's rainout against the Rockford Foresters at 3:00 pm in a seven inning game, and they will play their scheduled game at 5:00 pm, in what is also a seven inning game.

More information on when the games against the DuPage County Hounds and DeKalb County Liners will be provided later when made available.
