Former HP Fall Player Now in Minors

Reign Letkeman is now settling in as professional baseball player.  After being drafted in the 23rd round this past June by the Tampa Bay Rays, Letkeman reported to Tampa's Rookie League affliate in the Gulf Coast League.  After his first outing where "home plate looked mile away", Reign has now posted 4 scoreless outings including a 5 inning gem today (Aug 24th) where he surrendered only 1 hit and 2 walks while striking out 4.

Although he was only part of the Babe Ruth program for one fall, his teammates remember him as a great person and incredibly talented pitcher and infielder.  He was extremely dedicated to his development and travelled from Red Deer to Calgary the entire fall while rarely missing even a weeknight practice.  After a solid two years at Big Bend Community College (NWAC) he is now ready to move on to the next phase of his baseball career.  Read more about the promise of his pro career here:
