Wichita Host City For 2015 WMF Arena Soccer World Cup
Date: Mar 2, 2015

WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita B-52s have announced the signing of defenders Alex Moseley and Kevin Ten Eyck. Wichita natives, Moseley and Ten Eyck will be entering their fourth year of professional indoor soccer, but both are coming off 2013-2014 season-ending injuries.
Moseley played in 7 games before he was forced to end his first season with the B-52s after doctors diagnosed him with 6 stress fractures in his shin. Moseley was able to accumulate 3 goals and 5 assists during his limited role. Moseley spent the majority of 2014 in a very limited role, rehabbing his shin back to playing shape. He was released to full soccer activities in August. “It was definitely a mental challenge missing half of last season and then being unable to play for over 8 months,” said Moseley. “I’m thankful to have re-signed with the B52s to help bring a winning team back to Wichita, and I think we’ll have the quality to do that this year.”
Ten Eyck was another player who got hit by the injury bug very early in the season. During the first game of the season in Dallas, Ten Eyck tore his ACL and meniscus during the third period of the game. On November 12th, Ten Eyck went under the knife to have total ACL replacement surgery and repair the torn meniscus. Ten Eyck endured the grueling rehab process to be fully released to compete in all soccer activities in May. Ten Eyck competed with the Wichita B-52s’ premier team this summer. “I’m more than ecstatic to re-sign with my hometown team. It’s been a rough and long year since tearing my ACL and meniscus, but I am more than ready to get out there and compete for my city. I want to help take this team to new heights,” stated Ten Eyck.
Wichita will kick off their 2014-2015 MASL season on November 2, 2014 in Dallas. The B-52s first home game is against the Tulsa Revolution on November 8, 2014 at Hartman Arena at 7:05 p.m. CST. The B-52s are accepting season ticket sign-ups and renewals at this time. For the latest news and information on the B-52s, visit wichitaB52s.com or follow the team on social media:
