U14 Girls to National Finals

The U14 Girls Titans team has reached the Finals at USA Hockey's Tier II National Championships. The final game will take place tomorrow morning at 8:00AM versus Assabet. The Titans entered the tournament with a huge 10-0 statement win over the Lady Vipers. In Game 2, the team was tested a bit more but finished off Kensington Valley 6-5. Game 3 saw another offensive display as the Titans smothered Amherst 8-0. This morning in the quarter finals the CT Polar Bears took the Titans to overtime at 3-3, but with her fouth goal of the game Jesse DeVito propelled the Titans to the Semis. In the Semi-Finals the Titans took it to Pittsburgh and a 3-1 victory would give them a berth to the Finals. 

The Titans are led by the big three, Rebecca Foggia, Jesse DeVito, and Brianna Haviland. In 5 games these three lead the entire tournament in scoring with Foggia leading the way at 11g 7a for 18 points. Just behind her comes DeVito 9g 6a 15pts and Haviland with 7g 8a for 15pts. The Titans are backstopped by the Titan Club's Goaltender of the year Karoline Winzer.
