Smiths Falls downs Ottawa in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

A four-goal first period deficit cost the Cornwall Colts, which could not recover and fell to the Ottawa Senators, 6-0.
The win by Ottawa clinched the best of seven series at 4-1.
The Senators got the win behind a great game by Deric Boudreau, who had one goal and four assists. Boudreau scored 9:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Ottawa.
Ottawa's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Cornwall power plays.
Ottawa also got points from Joey Champigny, who also finished with two goals and one assist and Matthew Dupont, who also had one goal and one assist. Ottawa also had goals scored by Ryan Collins and Eric Clitsome, who scored one goal each. In addition, Ottawa received assists from Shawn Lynch, Joe Shecter, Michael Evelyn, and Zac Tierney, who each chipped in one.
Alexandre Savard-Belanger made 20 saves for the Senators on 20 shots. Ottawa incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Cornwall's James Edwardson stopped 22 shots out of the 28 that he faced. The Colts incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
