A four-goal first period deficit cost the Cornwall Colts, which could not recover and fell to the Ottawa Senators, 6-0.

The win by Ottawa clinched the best of seven series at 4-1.

The Senators got the win behind a great game by Deric Boudreau, who had one goal and four assists. Boudreau scored 9:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Ottawa.

Ottawa's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Cornwall power plays.

Ottawa also got points from Joey Champigny, who also finished with two goals and one assist and Matthew Dupont, who also had one goal and one assist.
