Last Season: Scott was acquired at the deadline from the Nepean Raiders. Dawson was an absolute wall for the Braves, steady, steady, steady. Dawson brought leadership and experience to the organization as well as a very reliable D-man in the Braves’ run for the National Championship. Scott attracted many NCAA recruiters. Dawson played in 2009 for Canada East as an assistant captain in Summerside, PEI and was an alternate for the top prospects game in December 2009. Represented the CJHL in the battle of Ontario All-Star game January 2010. More on Dawson: Played minor hockey for the Kanata Blazers (ODMHL). Drafted to the Barrie Colts of the OHL in the 3rd round (58th) in May 2007. Played for the Nepean Raiders of the CJHL since September 2007. Dawson was Captain for the Raiders in 2009 before getting traded to the Brockville Braves. Dawson played for Team Canada East in 2008 in Camrose, Alberta winning bronze. Represented Team East in the top prospects game in Summerside, PEI in December of 2008. Represented the CJHL in the Battle of Ontario prospect game in January 2009 in Pembroke and was an assistant captain.
