The Allen Americans gutted out a close 3-2 win against the Tulsa Oilers. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Brian McMillin secured the win for Allen with a goal in the third period. The Americans were led by McMillin, who registered one goal and one assist. McMillin scored on the power play 2:26 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Allen. Allen had taken the advantage when Tulsa's Ryan Menei got sent off for hooking. Trevor Hendrikx assisted on the tally.
