Arizona downs Fort Worth, 2-0

Mario Larocque finished with one point to lead the Arizona Sundogs to a 2-0 victory over the Fort Worth Brahmas.

Arizona's defense was surprisingly good. The Sundogs gives up 2.8 goals on average per game. Arizona put 23 shots on net during the contest, more than the 18.0 it averages per game.

Arizona also got a goal from Jeff Kyrzakos as well. Other players who recorded assists for Arizona were Sebastien Geoffrion and Johan Ryd, who each chipped in one.

Fort Worth could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Brahmas put an average of 2.8 pucks into the net per game. The 24 shots that Fort Worth put on net surpassed the Brahmas' average of 13.8 shots per game this season. Fort Worth's defensemen bolstered the Brahmas' offensive attack, as they bombarded David Brown with 12 shots.

Fort Worth was led by Adam Hogg, who took four shots.

The Sundogs' Brown stopped 24 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Arizona totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
