Fort Worth blows out Tulsa, 5-1

The Tulsa Oilers had trouble finding ways to stop the Fort Worth Brahmas, which beat Oilers, 5-1.

Fort Worth was paced by Sy Nutkevitch, who finished with one goal and one assist. Nutkevitch scored on the power play 12:44 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Fort Worth. The Brahmas had gotten the advantage when Tulsa's Gio Flamminio was sent off for cross checking. Tomas Klempa picked up the assist.

Fort Worth put 30 shots on net during the contest, more than the 23.7 it averages per game. The Brahmas outdid their season average for goals scored. Fort Worth averages 2.6 goals per game.

Fort Worth additionally got points from Phil Fox, who also registered one goal and one assist and Klempa, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Fort Worth also got a goal from Erik Spady as well. In addition, Fort Worth received assists from TJ Fox, who had two and Jake Morley, Nick Schneider, Ross Rouleau, and Derrick Pallis, who contributed one a piece.

The Oilers average 26.1 shots on goal per game, but only sent 18 pucks on net against the Brahmas.

Tulsa incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
