Tulsa falls to Missouri in overtime, 6-5 (OT)

The Missouri Mavericks' Ryan Jardine scored 32 seconds into overtime to beat the Tulsa Oilers, 6-5 (OT).

Jardine had a great game for Missouri, netting two goals.

The Mavericks bested their season scoring average. Missouri has scored at the pace of 3.4 goals per game during the current campaign. The Mavericks got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Brad Good also scored for Missouri. In addition, Missouri received assists from Patrick Schafer, Ed McGrane, Brandon Coccimiglio, Andrew Courtney, and Lukas Bohunicky, who contributed one a piece and Dave Pszenyczny, John-Scott Dickson, and Sebastien Thinel, who each chipped in two.

Tulsa put 32 shots on net during the contest, more than the 24.7 it averages per game.

The Oilers were led by Dylan Clarke, who racked up two goals. Clarke scored the first of his two goals at 7:04 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Missouri. Jeff Terminesi assisted on the tally. Clarke's next tally made the score 3-3 with 1:28 left in the second period. Mike Ullrich provided the assist. Tulsa also got a goal from Ryan Cramer as well. More assists for Tulsa came via David Solway and Troy Ofukany, who contributed one a piece and Luke Lucyk and Marty Standish, who each chipped in two.

BJ OBrien recorded 27 saves for Missouri. The Mavericks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Tulsa's Steve Christie stopped 21 shots out of the 27 that he faced. The Oilers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
