The Laredo Bucks rallied from two goals down to secure a 3-2 win over Allen. Laredo never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Bucks fell behind 2-0 after a power play goal by Allen's Colton Yellow Horn at 17:50 in the first period. Laredo knotted things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Adam Rivet at 14:41 in the second period. The Bucks scored the game winner at 18:06 in the third period on a goal by Rivet. Laredo was sparked by Rusty Masters, who had one goal and one assist. The Bucks were often in penalty trouble, totaling five minors and two majors for 20 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 15.0 minutes per game Laredo had been spending in the box. Neil Trimm also scored for Laredo.
