Seton Hall Club Ice Hockey kicks off its season with a home opener against St. Thomas Aquinas College. The Pirates are looking to make a statement early in the year, led by captain Ryan Uhlhorn and alternate captains Joe Salvador and Nick Zummo.
St. Thomas Aquinas enters the matchup with a reputation for speed and offensive firepower; they were the runner-up in the D3 MCHC championship last season. Seton Hall will need to rely on Salvador’s goaltending and Uhlhorn’s scoring touch to keep pace. The game also marks the debut of 9 freshmen, who will be looking to make an impact in their first collegiate appearances.
