TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa Spartans are set to face off in three games this weekend against the Hofstra University Pride.

The Spartans are rolling into this weekend maintaining an 11 game win streak. 3 of the 11 wins have been against cross-town rival, the University of South Florida. Among the Spartans leading scorers are senior defenceman Josey Davis (13 G, 19 A, 32 Pts) and graduate student Billy Cody (10 G, 18 A, 28 Pts).

The Hofstra University Pride travels to Tampa having played 11 less games than the Spartans with a 2-5-1 compared to the Spartans 17-1-1 record. The leading scorers for the Pride are Christopher Yonkers (6 G, 6 A, 12 Pts) and Michael Sweeney (5 G, 6 A, 11 Pts).

The Spartans will play host at Clearwater Ice Arena for all three games. The first matchup will take place on Friday 1/21 at 8:30pm. The second game will be on Saturday at 7pm and lastly, the two teams will close out the season with an 11am game on Sunday.
