Saul, Johnson Continue to Shine Through Week 10
Date: Apr 21, 2026

Danbury’s offense built up a lead with a strong offensive attack, but the bullpen collapsed in a 16-13 loss over the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks Saturday night.
Danbury took the lead early and battled with the Sharks as the game approached the middle innings. In the top of the fifth inning, the Westerners scored six times, four of them coming on a Sonny Uliana grand slam to give Danbury a strong lead.
However, the bullpen would surrender eight runs in the bottom of the ninth, capped off by a walk off three run home run by Anthony Videtto to lose their fifth straight game and fall into fourth place in the southern division.
After a day off on Sunday, the Westerners look to snap the losing streak when they travel back to Massachusetts to take on the New Bedford Bay Sox Monday night.
