Upshaw just finished his first season with the Kennesaw State Owls.  He spent 2015 at Georgia Perimeter College, where he was an All-Region First Team and All-County Second Team performer.  Austin had 73 hits and batted .417 in 2015.  Upshaw also earned Gwinnett Daily Post Player of the Week honors.  He attended Buford High School.
