Ranked by Perfect Game as a Top 500 player nationally in the class of 2015 and was the top rated middle infielder in the state of Kentucky. Earned First Team All-State accolades as a senior shortstop. Named to All-Tournament Teams at 2014 Perfect Game WWBA World Championship and 2014 Perfect Game WWBA 17u National Championship.


 


Personal: Born Daniel Stephen Little in Texas. Parents of John and Laurie Little. Has two older sisters – Leanne and Jennifer. Majoring in business. Signed with the Cardinals after also strongly considering Kentucky and TCU. Person with the greatest influence on his athletic career is his dad, who has always pushed him to do more than he thought he could do. Hobbies and interests include photography, architecture, design and science. Favorite movies include The Dark Knight and Nacho Libre. Favorite TV show is The Office. Favorite athletes are Bo Jackson and Ricky Henderson. Favorite cereal is Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Favorite candy bar is Twix. Favorite foods are sushi, Pringles and cinnamon rolls. Favorite team is Cincinnati Reds. Close relative and mentor for Daniel is Grady Little, former manager of the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers.
