Andrew Politi is a right handed pitcher who joins the Muskrats following his
sophomore year at Seton Hall University. In 2016, Andrew had a 1-0 record in 17
appearances. He had a 6.08 ERA in 23.2 innings of work while holding opponents to
a .234 batting average. Andrew Struck out 24 while walking 15. He made his debut
on February 21 against #15 Missouri. He threw two shut out innings, allowing just
two hits and striking out 3. The Long Valley, New Jersey native attended West Morris
Central High School in Chester, New Jersey. At West Morris Central, he was a threeyear
letter-winner as a right-handed pitcher while being named team captain as a senior.
Andrew was named All-Conference and All-Area in 2014. He pitched to a 0.94
ERA with 66 strikeouts and led West Morris to the Morris County title game that
season. He also participated in the N.J. Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game.
