Ryan Shinn is an outfielder who joins the Muskrats following his freshman
year at Florida Gulf Coast University. In 2016, Ryan started in 10 games for the Eagles
and batted .125, gathering 4 hits in 32 at bats. He drove in 3 runs and drew 4
walks. He also recorded one assist on the season. He had his first career hit in a start
at the University of Florida, smacking a single in the third. He later came around to
score. That began a four game hit streak for Ryan. He scored two runs on March 25
in what turned out to be a 6-5 Eagle victory over Florida A&M. Ryan is the son of
Paul and Barbara Shinn and has a sister named Heather. The Jobstown, New Jersey
native attended Northern Burlington County Regional High School. While there he
was a three-time First Team All-Conference member, First Team All-Area, and First
Team All-County.
