Scott is filling a major void for the Honkers, arriving at the midpoint of the seaosn and providing the first true center fielder the Honkers have had since John Ginais left the team early in the year. Berke has great range and plays very solid defense, and brings some real offensive skills to the table. He hit over .300 for the Rebels this season and stole 10 bases while also driving in 40 runs. He will likely see a lot of time batting leadoff with the Honkers, and should provide plenty of speed on the base paths infront of the big Honkers bats. Scott was a three-time All-State selection in high school and won the 2005 Nevada State Baseball Championship with Sierra Vista High School.
