SPRING 2014:  As a freshman, Daniel appeared in 7 games (starting 3) for the Creighton Bluejays.  Although he had only 7 at bats, he had significant impact.  In early May he scored the winning run as a pinch runner in the 10th inning, and he hit a triple and scored the first run as the DH on the next day, both games against Conference rival Seton Hall.  He finished his freshman year with a .286 batting average, scoring 3 runs and knocking in one RBI.  His slugging percentage was .571 and on base percentage .375.  Creighton finished the regular season atop the Big East Conference and lost to Xavier in the Big East Championship game.

HIGH SCHOOL 2010-13 (Loyola Academy HS):  Daniel played in 64 games for the Loyola Ramblers.  He earned letters in 2012 and 2013 posting batting averages of .410 and .320 respectively.  The highlight of his time at Loyola Academy HS was setting the Rambler record for a hitting streak at 19 in 2013 and was selected as First Team All-Area in his school district and as All-Conference in the very competitive Chicago Catholic League Blue Conference.  He also lettered in golf as a junior and senior.  Daniel achieved academic honors in each year, earning the Dumbach scholar award.

PERSONAL:  Daniel was born in 1995 to parents Tom and Emily Woodrow.  His older sister, Lucy, is at Johns Hopkins University and is the co-captain of the field hockey team and his younger brother, Kevin, is in high school.  Daniel enjoys golf and skiing of all types.  He is a business major and hopes to concentrate in finance and entrepreneurship.  He is currently on the Dean’s List at Creighton.
