2015 is Pete Whittingslow's second season with the ThunderBolts and second as a professional. He signed on March 12, 2014 and was activated for the first time on July 17. He pitched mostly out of the bullpen, but started two games down the stretch. Whittingslow played his college ball at Valdosta State University and went 6-2 with a 2.99 ERA there in 14 starts as a senior in 2013. In his two seasons at Valdosta State, he went a combined 12-6 with a 3.27 ERA and 132 strikeouts in 154 innings pitched. He also spent a year at Florida College at Jacksonville, where he went 4-6 with a 4.08 ERA and one year at East Tennessee State, where he compiled a 9.00 ERA in eight games. Pete attended Kennesaw Mountain High School in Kennesaw, Georgia.
