Luce has played two seasons of professional baseball, first for Amarillo of the American Association in 2012, where he hit .211 in 27 games. Also played for the Frontier League’s Rockford Aviators in 2013. Played in college at Elon, where he hit .316 his senior season with a team-high 14 doubles in 50 games.
