Eddie will not play for the Knights this summer. A 10-day signee, Malone was a junior at Central Washington in 2012-13.

Eddie played at Scottsdale CC and at Mesa CC in the Phoenix area before transferring to CWU. He hit .343, with 24 RBIs, in 42 games at Mesa in 2012.

He is a graduate of Queen Creek High School in Queen Creek, Ariz.
