Steve Weber will bring his 6 foot 6 frame to the mound at Knute Nelson Memorial Ballpark for the 2012 season. Weber threw six no hit innings in his second start of the 2012 season, finishing with 6 and 2/3 innings pitched and four strikeouts while picking up the win and MAC West Pitcher of the Week honors with his effort. As a sophomore at Eastern Michigan, Weber finished with a 6-3 record and a 4.31 ERA while striking out 49 batters. As a freshman in 2010, he picked up MAC West Pitcher of the Week honors after striking out 10 batters in eight innings against Cleveland State for his first collegiate victory. In 11 starts in the 2012 season, Weber had a 5-3 record and 43 strikeouts. Weber was voted to the All-Ohio Mizuno All-Star Team as a high school senior. He is majoring in Business at Eastern Michigan.
