Austin comes to the Rascals in 2012 for his fourth season in professional baseball and first in a Rascals uniform. He was drafted in the 5th round by the Miami Marlins out of Elon University in 2009.  Austin hit .226 with 12 doubles and 10 homeruns in 372 at-bats last season in the Florida State League (A+).
