Mansilla,  was drafted in round #22 by the Detroit Tigers in the 2009 MLB Amateur Draft out of the College of Charleston.

The Rimini, Italy native spent two seasons in the Tigers system, making it as high as their AA affiliate, the Erie Seawolves. The 6’1”, 180 pound right hander, has primarily spent his time in left field, but also has experience at each outfield position.

Last year with the Lake County Fielders, Mansilla appeared in 36 games, recording 37 hits, 9 doubles, 2 home runs, while driving in 18 runs with a .270 batting average.
