A big part of the Dolphins’ program over the last three seasons, DeLamielleure comes to Keene this summer after his junior year with Jacksonville, who posted three nationally-ranked wins (Florida, Miami, Florida Gulf Coast) this spring over the season’s first three months.  The Florida native who stayed in his home state for college is hitting .274 over his 136 game career that has seen him start 122 times.  Over the past two seasons, he is hitting .283 with a combined 22 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, and 53 RBI.  He has reached base at a .371 clip, including .386 and .383 over the past two seasons while cutting down significantly on strikeouts this past season (by nearly half).  He led the team in batting average a year ago and was tied for first in stolen bases (19).  His paternal grandfather, Richard, played baseball at Notre Dame and Michigan before playing in the Minnesota Twins organization, and had two other relatives that played football, one in the NFL for 13 years (six Pro Bowls).
