Matt is a left-handed pitcher returning to the Lunkers from Loyola Marymount University. A sophomore, Matt arrived in Los Angeles to play for the LMU Lions after graduating from Mission Viejo High School (Calif.). Matt has had a stellar sophomore season at LMU, posting a 0.47 ERA in 18 appearances out of the bullpen. The son of Sharon and Mark Florer, Matt comes from an athletic family, as his father was on the rowing team at the University of Washington. Matt is a communications major with a minor in political science.
