Higgins joins the Newport Gulls after his first season at the Division I level. The native New Englander transferred to St.Bonaventure from Suffolk University (Boston, MA) after his sophomore season as a Ram. Higgins started in virtually every game for the Bonnies in which his home run and RBI totals was tied for second on the team. Higgins helped Suffolk to a GNAC Conference Championship in 2017 and was placed on the All- Great Northeast Conference Third- Team following that same year. He is majoring in Sociology.
