As a sophomore in 2016, Lehmann made three starts and additional appearances out of the bullpen and did not allow an earned run in those relief stints. As a freshman, he was the Bilikens’ top rookie arm, making 18 appearances and nine starts, posting a 5.21 ERA with 33 strikeouts over 46-plus innings of work. His best start came against nationally-ranked Missouri State, throwing five innings with five hits, one earned run, eight strikeouts and one walk.
