The Council Bluffs, Iowa native Crowl returns to Waterloo for his second season with the club in 2017. Last season with the Bucks, Crowl played in 22 games, hit for a .281 average while driving in 5 RBIs. As a redshirt freshman at Iowa he made six starts in 2016 smacking one homer and delivering three RBIs. Out of high school, Crowl was ranked as the No. 367 best player nationally by Perfect Game and was a first-team all-state selection as a senior, hitting .440 with six home runs, 33 RBIs, and 14 steals.
