The sophomore Liberal Arts major from Waukee, Iowa, had All-Academic honors and was a First Team All-Conference member at Waukee High School. Moore began his college career at Iowa Western where he started two games and appeared in 11 games in 2016. Moore went 2-0 posting a 2.95 ERA with 15 strikeouts in 18.1 innings.

During his sophomore campaign at Des Moines Area CC, Moore was 5-3 with a 2.98 ERA, appearing in 11 games and starting 10. He pitched four complete games this season, walking eight and striking out 46. HE is transferring to Division I Nebraska-Omaha in the fall.
