The Neptune Beach Pearl took down the Sacramento Scorch (3-7) 10-1 on Saturday at Sierra Junior College after slamming the Sacramento Scorch with six runs in the fifth inning.

Bob Cruikshank put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the Neptune Beach Pearl. He tripled in the third inning, singled in the sixth inning, and doubled in the fifth and eighth innings.

Chris Garrison pitched lights out for the Neptune Beach Pearl. Garrison gave up just three hits, allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out five during his six innings of work.

Josh Eagle was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.

Eddie Mora-Loera, Cruikshank and Richie Johnson helped lead the Neptune Beach Pearl. They combined for eight hits and five RBIs.
