The Kitsap BlueJackets (4-2) outlasted the Walla Walla Sweets (3-3) on Tuesday after four lead changes, squeaking out a 3-2 win at Borleske Stadium.
Francisco Tellez was hot from the plate for the Kitsap BlueJackets. Tellez went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second and third innings and doubled in the sixth inning.
Colin Feldtman had an impressive outing against the Walla Walla Sweets' lineup. The Walla Walla Sweets managed just one hit off of the the Kitsap BlueJackets' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his 2 1/3 innings of work.
A bright spot for the Walla Walla Sweets in the defeat was Zach Brandon, who allowed only two runs while striking out six.
Garrett Tygerson (0-1) took the loss for the Walla Walla Sweets. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
