Arnoldo Ponce went 2-3 as the Hawaii Stars (19-18) took home a 7-3 victory over the San Rafael Pacifics (24-13) at Wong Stadium on Tuesday.
He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.Ronnie Loeffler picked up the win for the Hawaii Stars. Loeffler pitched eight innings and allowed three earned runs, six hits and two walks while striking out five.
Chase Fontaine reached base two times in the game for the San Rafael Pacifics. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning.
