Danny Sandoval brought home the winning run to give the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (10-9) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Maui Na Koa Ikaika hung on to beat the Hawaii Stars (9-10) 3-2 on Tuesday.

Josh Larson improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered no hits.

John Holly (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
