The Maui Na Koa Ikaika (33-27) pounded the Hawaii Stars (25-29) on Sunday 12-2 at Iron Maehara Stadium.

The Maui Na Koa Ikaika scored six runs in the eighth on an RBI single by Waylen Sing Chow, a single by Jose M Sanchez, , a two-run single by Danny Sandoval, a two-run double by Alan Rick, and a single by Gered Mochizuki.

Sing Chow led the Maui Na Koa Ikaika's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game.

Arnoldo Ponce racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Hawaii Stars. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Chad Blackwell got the win, running his season record to 9-1. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered six hits.

John Holly was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked six and struck out two.
